The big problem is that 40 years have elapsed since the Nixon Watergate trials. America is a different place that has fallen for the Siren's song of free stuff, just vote for me and I'll take care of you, etc. From what I've seen in The Dear Leader's first term, sheeple don't give a damn about what he does so long as there's beer in the fridge, porn on the computer, a football game on, and their little bubble of exixtence doesn't get interfered with.

Fed LE will salute and march forward on any illegal Executive Orders. There will be a small minority that may protest (they'll be fired or brow beaten into line), but most will press on.

Did you actually read that blog? According to them, Reagen signed twice as many Executive Orders as Obama has so far.

True, but Reagan wasn't about "transforming America" as BHO has promised to do. Reagan was about solidifying the American Dream, BHO wants us to look like Cuba, Venezuela, China, or just insert any other Socialist Worker's Paradise.

Love it or hate it The American Republic has proven throughout its entire exsistance to have resiliency that far out last its flaws. Issues much larger and more toxic than Gun Bans have threatened this country to include; Slavery, Social Security, Prohibition, westward Expansion, and Civil Rights. Our unique form of Democracy is UGLY but it has proven time and time and time again to work.

Everything you guys are saying about Obama was said about Madison, both Roosevelt's, and Reagan. Until an overwhelming majority of American Voters agree with Feinstein they can be out maneuvered. Once that majority arrives.... It's time to move.

You have far too much faith.

Rome absolutely, positively never fell, UNTIL IT FELL. (It only took one man, Julius Caesar, to end the Republic. And he did it illegally)

How many Feds are there? 100,000? How many do you know, 50-60 thousand? Are you intimating that many would not follow illegal orders?

I've met a few, and they are pretty simple minded.. They will follow blindly, not all, but enough will..

Hey, its a great gig. 1 in 5 makes over 100k. Guaranteed employment. Unmatchable bennys. How many gonna risk that? For Godsakes, just look at the TSA. Demographically, you have to figure at least half are Dems. and philosophically in agreement with the regime, anyway.

Wrong on several fronts. Julia Caesar became Emperor for Life by decree of the Senate. The Romans had no Constituiton that prevented such decrees. Rome fell several times throughout its history before finally becoming The Byzantine Empire which begat The Holy Roman Empire which lasted until The Rise of The Hapsburgs. Maybe a better historical parallel for you would be the Aztecs.

Yes that's what I'm saying I do not believe most Fed Agents would carry out Illegal Orders. Wait I know Ruby Ridge! Waco! Those were certainly poorly planned and executed and in te case if Ruby Ridge individual agents may have acted illegally but neither was in itself illegal.

Actually you are wrong. Caesar was never emperor. He was Dictator. The first Emperor was Octavian (aka Augustus), Julius stepson or nephew. So what if they didn't have a constitution, they had law, history and tradition that Caesar cast aside. We can argue the history of the Empire all day. The fact is that your Pollyanna outlook is naive, to think that because something has not happened proves it cannot.

    Lets not forget:

"The price of liberty is ETERNAL vigilence."

Millions of Jews thought illegal orders wouldn't be carried out, as they got ready for their shower.

And your nihilistic in believing that the worst is likely to happen despite the tomes of precedent against. There isn't much to argue about Rome you say it fell, and while te city itself did the empire did not.

I was waiting for that! Still doesn't make it an invalid point. Those who forget/deny history are condemned to repeat it. History proves that Leftists/Statists are willing to kill however many it takes to create Utopia.

    godwin's law

ball reverted to gorilla's 15 yard line, still 2nd down.

Godwin's law (also known as Godwin's Rule of Nazi Analogies or Godwin's Law of Nazi Analogies[SUP][1][/SUP][SUP][2][/SUP]) is an argument made by Mike Godwin in 1990[SUP][2][/SUP] that has become an Internet adage. It states: "As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazisor Hitler approaches 1."[SUP][2][/SUP][SUP][3][/SUP] In other words, Godwin observed that, given enough time, in any online discussion—regardless of topic or scope—someone inevitably makes a comparison to Hitler or the Nazis.
Although in one of its early forms Godwin's law referred specifically to Usenet newsgroup discussions,[SUP][4][/SUP] the law is now often applied to any threaded online discussion, such as forums, chat rooms and blog comment threads, and has been invoked for the inappropriate use of Nazi analogies in articles or speeches.[SUP][5][/SUP]

When nothing comes of this how many of you guys will admit you were wrong? Or will that be a partnofnit e grand conspiracy as well?...they wanted us to think they weren't able to force gun control on us but secretly the Bilderburgs or whatever the Ultra Secret Committee everyone on the net knows about d'jour actually fooled te sheep again!

I'm not Pollyanna I'm realistic. When I see things change I will change my outlook. So far not much has changed. The rhetoric has gotten louder and is more oftly repeated with less attention to facts but very little has actually changed.

Now that we have established that all Fed Agents are lazy, Democrat, simpletons I'm not sure what everyone is so worried about anyway.
