Blackpowder shooters

Hi Everyone,

I'm fairly new to this forum. I moved here in 2004 and I'm looking to find some Blackpowder shooters around the Covington, LA. area. I mainly shoot Flintlock rifle's and pistol's I do have a Percussion rifle also. So far all I've been able to find is people that shoot the modern Muzzleloaders. I also need to find a place that sells real blackpowder. If anyone knows anyone or is interested please let me know. I am living about 10 miles north of Covington.

I shoot C&B revolvers some, and find it a real blast. I also have a percussion .50cal Kentucky pistol, and a percussion .50 cal Morse rifle.

No in-line stuff for me, it's just not right.

I used to shoot a percussion revolver years ago. I couldn't hit the broad side of the whole farm with it though.
I've always been tempted by a black powder rifle though.

I've been shooting blackpowder guns since 1977. Once you start it is hard to stop. It also makes you a better shot with the modern firearms.
