    Well I mean, are we sniping here or it some sort of active engagement scenario we're trying to simulate? There's sporting events that mimic both to some extent. 3 gun is a blast but so is F class bench rest, in its own way. Even at 400 yards, if I have to make one shot to get the job done, and there's no margin for error I'll take a 10lb bolt action 308 with a barrel the size of a broom handle or bigger because where the rubber meets the road there's more to accuracy than MOA in dead calm conditions. Wind, rain, bugs, barriers, my bad shooting, or that one little defect in the bullet that always seems to happen at the worst possible moment. If I only have one shot, then I need my rifle to be as good as it can be because with all these other variables in play, it might mean the difference between a hit and a miss.
