Bonnet Carre Spillway open?

Does anyone know if the spillway is open to ATVs this weekend? Just called, but it's to late. I guess everyone is gone for the weekend.

I'm not postive but I do know that they closed the river road, I don't see why the atv area would be closed I know people are still taking atv's to go deer hunting.

It was closed a few days ago, but I figured it was from all the rain. It had a lot of standing water. I hate to load the dirt bikes and drive all the way out there on Sunday and they're still closed.

There was a private website for the Bonne Carre atv park. I haven't been to it in a long time so don't know if its still active. They would post when it was closed or open.
