The Barrett Optical Ranging System (BORS) is an exciting new development in long range shooting. The integrated electronic ballistic computer couples directly to the Leupold Mark 4® rifle telescope acting as the upper rear scope ring.

A couple guys in the Barrett Long Range Basics class had them. You haveot zero them in at a specific yardline (I THINK 100)

And if you forget and manually adjust... you have to go back and rezero it.


The inventer just took a Barrett class, so I expect (JUST PERSONAL OPINION) some upgrades...

yes you have to zero at 100yds. its been out for almost 2years

All I know is that Drew (Dude now in charge of Barrett training) said that the 2 in the Feb Barrett Long Range Basic class were the first ones that they had in the class.

He's the one who told me that the March class would include the BORIS designer.
