Forgive my liking of this tacticool AK...also billie mays lol Is this an AK 104? Also what is kind of handrail is that?? And flash hider? Can't tell if its a pistol either....figured you guys could break it down.

I saw that picture somewhere on the ak forum but I cannot find it. It looks like he took a 6lb rifle and made it a 9lb rifle. If you want to look at pictures of ak's there are plenty in this thread.

^^This!!! That is an AMD-65 and it is pricey. I went with a US Palm/MI rail kit instead. I believe that one costs in the $400 range and they are hard to find.

The Mako system is nice and for a good price but it doesn't look like it allows for co-witness like the US Palm/MI system. Ether way it looks good.

Not to steal this thread but does any one know of an AR style collapsible folding stock that fits an AMD-65?

You can get a AMD 65 to Ace adapter then get the AR adapter and put what3ver kind you want on it.

Why not just the ultimak with the forward optic? Makes no sense to me.
