Should I just load the rounds in them and leave them in or take them out in a few days to decompress the springs and then reload them? Thanks!

I find the best way to break in new magazines in to start about by buying a case of ammo. Then head off to your favorite shooting spot. Load the magazines insert into gun shoot until all mags are empty. Repeat until the case of ammo is depleted.

What everyone else said, with an addition.

If breaking in the mags were necessary, simply leaving the spring compressed would not get the job done. This follows with the common myth that leaving mags or tubes loaded will degrade the spring-- which was dispelled for me in very harsh terms that made me feel retarded.

Keep in mind that constant stress on the feed lips of some magazines may cause problems, though. Although this could be the new myth to replace the old one. :mamoru:
