Does anyone have any experience or information on the Browning B2000?

A friend is looking at trading for one and we dont really know anything about it. I know they were imported in the late 70's through the mid 80's but dont know too much about them in general.

I dont have a picture at the moment, but google searches have brought up a bunch of them. It has some kind of port on the left hand side of the receiver. not really sure what that is.

    Lets hear it Shotgun Guru's!

I have one I used for 30 years. It is a very good gas shotgun. The open port on the left side is where you load the gun. I am left handed and I can feed it shells so fast a game warden though he had me with an unpluged gun.

The 2000 will not work 1oz shells you have to use at least 1 1/8. It is very reliable and soft shooting.

I have a extra 3 inch barrell for the B2000 with a screw in choke I am going to sell if anyone is interested. The catch is it will only feed 3 inch shells.

Thanks for the input. I'll pass it along.
