Bushmaster model 90689 Carbon AR15-need opinions

Looking for feedback on this model 90689 rifle made by Bushmaster, can be purchased for under $700 w/red dot sight. Seems like a decent beginner AR?

i have one. ran about 800 rounds through it so far and no issues. very light and durable also.

red dot that it comes with is weak, keeps shutting off after a couple shots and it reappears lol. but i got rid of it and got an eotech.

i got mines from budsgunshop.com ....it was like $615 shipped at the the time i got it. plus the additional 3% they charged.

they usually have it on sale from time to time, but i think cabelas has it for $699.

I'd steer clear. Get a more traditional system as a starter.
