Bushnell TRS-25 Red Dot for $39.99

Go to Cabelas website, buy one of these at $69.99 then complete the mail-in-rebate for $30. Best Deal by far I don't care if you're a Aimpoint/Eotech super fan boy. I've been using this red dot for over a year now on my AR, I have never had it lose zero, even after throwing my gun around and dropping it. I currently have two and I'm about to purchase my third. The rebate says it is for Trophy XLT but I called to confirm that the TRS is included in the rebate offer. There are several forums where people have confirmed this as well. DON'T HOLD ME TO IT THOUGH, try at your own risk.

if you want to co-witness with standard ar-15 sights google search for "3-slot utg .83" riser" and if you prefer lower 1/3 search "3-slot utg 1" riser".

That rebate doesn't apply to that scope from what I've seen. Amazon was advertising it for awhile but has since pulled the rebate from the product page. That's how the deal originally got passed around. I'd want to see that in writing before buying the red dot. Good red dot though.

This is why I researched other forums, then picked up my phone and called Bushnell, myself, to confirm. The rebate also says, "any Trophy XLT Riflescope, Binocular, or Spotting Scope". According to their website they do not make a Bushnell Trophy XLT Spotting Scope line.

These are just a few but if you read closely these people have successfully used the rebate.

If that turns out to be the case you can also get it from Amazon for $79.95 shipped. More or less the same price as Cabela's after tax/shipping/gas.

I contacted Bushnell by email so I would have something in writing. Here is the response I received.

"No I apologize but this rebate is only for rifle scopes and the line of red dot scopes.

That's not to say others haven't received their rebates but YMMV.

I replied to the Bushnell response with this:

"According to the Bushnell documentation the TRS-25 is a Trophy red dot scope.

Others have received the $30 rebate for the TRS-25 and others have been told via telephone that the rebate is valid. I just want to verify that it is. If it is not, which red dot scopes is the rebate valid for?"

Here is the response I received:

"I apologize but the trophy red scopes do not qualify for the rebate for they are not of the xlt part of the trophy line and the rebate (see attached form) is not for any non xlt trophy models.

So now they are saying no red dot scopes qualify which I would agree with based on the rebate form text. But the address you send the rebate form into is just a rebate processing center so they probably don't know which models are or aren't on the list (I'm guessing). So the rebate probably doesn't qualify on that red dot but you might receive it anyway.
