The old bee man has been burning the candles at both ends lately but I took a few minutes this am to partake in one of my favorite past times, fishing. It was a beautiful morning so I slipped out the camp and headed to the beach and made a few cast just to loosen up the old arms and try to remember what’s it’s like to feel some weight on the end of my line. After a few cast with no luck, I noticed the birds diving on a pod of shrimp and I was able to intercept them. Pulled these two fat rascals out before the dolphins moved in and then everything went south. I know it’s only two, but I can wait to cook them up tonight for my wife and I. Well my 30 minted of fun is over now back to work rebuilding the camp.

Looks beautiful out there. I have a buddy who has been wade fishing on GI with some luck. I still have yet to give it a try but im hoping that changes this summer. I mostly fish from Pontchartrain to Delacroix/Hopedale.
