There is a guy in my neighbrohood that Bought a rental car... How do I know? it is a Chevy Captiva, they only make them for Rental agencies.. I was like .. I never heard of that Chevy and sure enough it is only sold to rental companies and fleet cars.

When I sold cars we would get rentals to sell as well. Good deals and we made tons of money on them. For Sure buy an extended warranty. I myself wouldnt own one. who knows what has been in there etc.

For a couple more bucks just get something from the dealer and 20k is a nice budget.

I'm actually considering buying my next vehicle from Enterprise. I want an AWD SUV, and people just don't rent those ($$$) to go hooning around in. They rent them for family trips, etc.

Now, something semi-sporty from Enterprise? I may or may not, but Enterprise cars have all their shots, so to speak.

Buying a rental is like marrying a hooker in my opinion.

Rode hard, red lined, bounced off of curbs and everyone gets a turn to drive the rental..... we got the insurance.

Some may have had luck with purchasing rentals but ive seen rentals being driven and i rent veryoften while traveling for work. I wouldnt own one.

Purchased an '01 F-150 from Enterprise in '02 with 30k miles. It has served me well. Good motor and trans. No problems other than general wear and tear. My next vehicle will likely be from Enterprise. Buy with confidence.

I have not heard anything good about Captivas from their owners.

I've bought 'program' cars before but i've always bought the 100K warranty. No major issues.

And yes rentals are driven like they were stolen. I'd love to see a hidden camera show on rental cars!
