Cameras on parish lines

Just wondering, have any of y'all noticed cameras on light poles near your parish lines? In my parish there are cameras on every road coming in about half a mile past the parish line, pointed down both lanes going in and out. Anyone know what they are for?

Speculating here, but I'll take two educated guesses:

1) Traffic cameras
2) License plate reader cameras

They are licence plate readers. Put there so the feds can keep tabs of those listed in the gun owner list they have compiled.

I know for a fact that Ascension Parish has some LPR cameras . At least 10 or more .

I don't keep anything in my name. Including both my vehicles. Everything I own is legal and legit, but nothing has my name on it. I like it that way. Gives me a sense of separational security knowing I can walk away from everything at any time.

The cameras read your license plate, then cross reference the information with the Covid Vaccination Database.

If you're un-vaxed, but a member of the illuminati, you'll get a pass. Otherwise, they'll pull you over, search your car for pets, and shoot your dog in front of your children.

Lucky for me, I have cats, and no children.
