Nics is running, the IOI's are working, the NFA branch is at full steam even though they are telling people they can't check their status during the shutdown. My ATF IOI said the only ATF employees that are on furlough went voluntarily. Probably the kind of people that think they are getting a free vacation, and probably are right...

That's BS! I purchased a Glock 26 for my wife yesterday with no problems! Is this your first attempt to purchase a gun? If not, you should be in the system - no delay. A friend of mine purchased an AR at Academy yesterday. It was his first firearm purchase and he had no problem.
