Hey guys. I don’t chime in here as much as I should, but I got my carry permit last year and still haven’t found a super comfortable way to carry yet.
During my early college years, I was diagnosed with bad circulatory problems that were far advanced for my age. The further it progressed, the harder it became for me to stay active and take care of myself like I should, and now I am rocking some love handles until I lose the weight again (which I am working on now). After a series of surgeries and treatments spanning almost ten years, I’m finally active and most of my pain is very manageable.
Anyway, the idea of IWB concealment was a bit daunting at first. I am using a kydex OWB style holster made by vedder at 4:00 for the time being. At the moment, it works alright. The sweat guard digs into my side but it is otherwise manageable.
I’m beginning to look into the Stealthgear options such as the OWB flex and mini IWB. Does anyone else have experience with holsters like these, or have any other suggestions? Definitely curious to see what others prefer. Thanks in advance everyone for their advice in my matter. Hopefully it can help some other guys as well.
I carry a glock 26, if that matters at all.
