Just got a call. Last time they returned it because it was processed more than 60 days after the notary signed and stamped it, so that was redone and resubmitted about a month ago.

    Be thankful for the call.

Roger that. Four years ago on my renewal my training certificate date was double stamped and hard to read. They sent it back in the mail and I had to chase down the instructor to get a new one.

Glad he got a phone call and not in the mail.

When you take a class you are instructed to send in TWO sets of prints if you are not having the prints done by the CHP section of LSP.

Yep that's the way mine was done about 17 years ago. I don't think they had digital prints then, I went and got my cousin to do mine at the old City Jail in BR on a Sat. morning.
Since then I haven't let it expire so I didn't have to do it again.

Plus I had a great CHP Instructor for my last renewal :)

The 2 sets of prints is a newer requirement. The older forms still say 1 set. I went through this last year. LSP returned the paperwork and I had the instructor I took the class with do a 2nd set and sent it in. No problems. The new paperwork/forms specifies 2 sets.

Yea, that's why I took a day off work and just went to LSP to have my prints done on their fancy-pants machine. The women were very nice and polite and I did not wait long at all to get through the process. Just remember to get a money order before hand - they do not accept any convenient forms of payment lol.
