Any more info on this shoot. I'm intrigued.

There'll be another one in 350+ days.

All you really need is the ability to bring enough ammo to the line-- you could do without a holster, pouches, etc. (Bring the bag gunned up with your mags, follow the range commands and go to town.)

Standard stage is 50 rounds; we had 51 pins and 55 shots on the paper. You will of course need extra, unless you can clean that many shots.

It's a match put on by Cajun Action Shooters every December. Takes place at Southern Shooting Center in Thibodaux. 4 stages 50+ rounds on each stage, any centerfire handgun, no limit on magazine capacity, 2 divisions Open (compensators and electronic sights) and Limited (everything else). VERY fun match. Proceeds from the match go to charity. In the past it has been Wounded Warrior Project, this year there were a number of charities listed, but I'm not sure which one(s) were chosen.

Looks pretty sweet but unfortunately I'll never be free in December.

So I'll have to make my own.
What distance are the courses shot at?

Minimum steel distances are 8 yards, and the closest steel (static and falling) were at that. You can judge from the videos based on that, since the box vs any given array/target will vary.

Paper went from about 6 to 12 yards, to my eye.

Pins were probably 10 at the closest. I'm sure there's a minimum distance on them as well.

Ikam glasses suck. Mine and Jared's at least was done with a contour. Back when Spanky used to shoot, he used a contour too.

    Ikam audio is the worst.

I also use Flip cameras for the non-hat-cam portion of the video.

I have a pair of ikam glasses. Audio lags, grainy picture, and the memory is full and I'm not able to delete it (not working with my computer.) I gave up on it and bought a contour.
