    You're correct. All that was going on when I first started looking into the permit.
    Yep Louisiana changed the law probably close to 10 years ago. If you're a La resident you had to get a La. CHP if you wanted to CC in Louisiana. The ole FL non resident didn't work here anymore

    You were not made a Reseve Deputy just to be able to carry.
    You were issued a permit to carry in the parish it was issued by. Not every where!
    Absolutely correct. Matter of fact, all of mine from Harry Lee specifically said I had no arrest powers.

    Off topic but i found it very easy to do the bearco class online. Then use a local instructor to do the shooting portion. I renewed my lifetime like that earlier this year.
