    Does everyone have to take a course to get a CCP ?

    What if someone spent 11 1/2 years in the navy.

    Small Arms Administration Petty Officer responsible for the training and qualifications of shipboard security personnel.
    Small arms petty officer responsible for the inventory of ammunition and maintenance of shipboard small arms including the the following: .45 cal 1911 A1 semi-auto pistol, Remington model 870 pump shotgun, Springfield armory M-14, and Colt M-16.
    Qualified expert .45 caliber pistol, 12 Gauge shotgun, m-14 service rifle, and m-16 service rifle.
    Conventional weapons handling Supervisor. Conventional weapons handling team leader. Torpedo tube Technician responsible for the maintenance and repair of torpedo tubes and signal ejectors.
    Qualified chief of the watch, Armed security guard , Below decks watch, Atmosphere control watch, Quality assurance inspector, conventional weapons handling team leader, conventional weapons handling supervisor, nuclear weapons handling team leader, and nuclear weapons armed security guard.

    And have all his papers to prove it.
    would this person still have to take that class?
