Anyone know if basspro shop & cabelas allows CCW in the stores.

They allow lawful open or concealed carry. As long as it's staying in the holster you won't have a problem. If you are bringing in the gun for service, to try fitting it in holsters or to the range (if you will be handeling it at all) it needs to be unloaded, cased and checked by the greeter as you enter. Sort of like when you go to the gun show.
