I'm looking to have my Bersa 380 done in FDE or something similar. It will be carried everyday and used and abused, so I'm looking for something that will be tough as Hell. I have heard a few bad things about Duracote holding up to punishment, but not too much on Cerakote. Any suggestions on which to use and who near Lafayette does them? Also cost diffrences?

Im not in Lafayette, but I can give you the name of a guy that does a great job in Shreveport. He is an FFL as well so can handle the shipping problems. PM me if you want his info.

You want Cerakote without a doubt. I have redone each duracoat with this. The metal has to be scratched to tear through the coating.

If applied properly, both finishes are extremely durable. We will be happy to coat your Bersa.

Has anyone ever heard of or used GunSports LLC in Denham Springs for Cerakote gun refinishing?
