    my ar-15 chambered in 5.56 is having a small ejection problem i have noticed a few rough places in the chamber i was wandering if using a flex hone is something i would be able to do myself i am a hobby gunsmith i do work for friends and family i just dont want to bite off more than i can chew i feel confident i could do this with no problem i would just like to have another opinion before i decide to try this any words of wisdom would be apreciated thank you

    I would try a chamber brush with solvent, if that doesnt work some 0000 steel wool wrapped around an old 45 cal bore brush spun by a dril but keep it out of the throat and rifiling. l, anything more than that is reamer, lapping territory and should go to a smith.

    Never done an ar, but on jammasters and bar's (jammasters jr.s), I use a piece of dowel with a slot in end, with 0000 scotchbrite. I would not use a hone.
