Greetings Everyone , I just recived my XS Sights for my kimber pro carry and tried to change sights my self well that didnt work out , lol, i was at the range in henderson and ran into a guy that changed his sights on his kimber (thats why i bought XS Sights ) and he told me that it wasn't that hard . well i believe that it is not for the non gunsmith anyway . i locked it down in a good padded vice and with my brass punch started to try and remove old sight s (wow ) you have to be kidding me , those dam things are welded in there , i know that kimber presses them in there and i stopped before i really messed my gun up .
Anyone do smithing on the side ? every one that i have called around lafayette area are super busy and have a long wait period . i looked at a sight pusher, but i only need this 1 pistol done and spending that kind of of money for a 1 time deal isnt gonna happen
The video of them changing sight on XS web page makes it look real easy also
Thx
