Free powder, Free primers, Free brass and home cast bullets. Makes for some very cheap carbine shooting. First target is 100 yds clean bore, 2nd is after about 60-70 rds and at 50yds. Green bullets left no leading I could find. (velocity was about 1700 fps)

Ya know, being frugal is one thing... but that can of powder might be as old as I am... and those primers were on the Ark's second run, too.

The can was damn near rusted through. Looked like new on the inside. Got about 10 lbs of powder of various flavors and 10k primers.

Gonna try my J Point on a one of the carbines, those carbine sights were certainly meant for younger eyes.

That's another reason I never got one. I'd have to put an optic on it... and that just don't seem RIGHT, ya know?

    .
Nah , you don't need no damn optics . Put your target out there at about 50 yds and blast away . At our age , we don't have to prove anything to anybody . Just have fun . :D
