A lot of times by time it hits slickguns it sells out quickly. Sometimes the deals have been around a couple of days before Slickguns gets hold of them. I had the opportunity to purchase LC 556 @ (I forget if it was xm855 or XM193) @ $315 per 1000 a week or so ago and I didn't, I guess I should have bought it and flipped it....

I grabbed 1,000 rds of pmc xtac 62gr for $320ish from sportsman guide but now it's back ordered till mid August 2013.

I swore off CTD years ago when they F'd up the $23/50 round box Gold Dot gravy train.

SGammo is still selling a case of loose 855 for $399. Apparently they are still receiving inventory too. The other day they had sold out and now they have more without raising the price.

And, this is divergent from the original thread but, SGammo is the only place I've found for 40 and 45 cal Wichester Ranger t's. They do run out, but they also do get them back in stock - and, fairly. reasonable.

Oh, yes, CTD is for the birds.

Visited 3 Academy Sports stores in the last week. All were out of the Monarch 223 55gr FMJ and the advertised "everyday" price went up from $4.98 to $6.98
