Chinese M14SA Question

Hi guys, i got a Federal Ordnance C series M14SA (which was the Century Chinese import version) and started swapping out the Chinese parts on it with original USGI. So far i got the trigger group and op rod switched out but can't get the bolt assembly to fit in the receiver (front right lip is too big for the receiver). Has anyone had any experience with these Chinese M14s and if so is it worth modifying the receiver to take a USGI bolt?

They have a good rep on working on the M-14 platform. I am not sure if anyone in the area does this type of work.
