My trust is completed and ready to go, and I have a question.

It's my understanding that the processing time for a suppressor is around 9 months. Is this the normal processing time for future purchases or just the first-time purchase?

I had one e form clear in 3 months, another in 4 months. It is impossible to give you an accurate timeline because things are constantly changing, but using e forms will help a lot. I had a personal form 4 clear in 45 days, paper... What suppressor are you looking for?

I haven't decided on a suppressor yet and plan to go to Arms Merchant in Mandeville which is close to me.

Can you tell me the difference between Form 3 and Form 4?

A form 3 is a dealer to dealer transfer. A form 4 is a dealer/trust/individual/corporate entity to trust/individual/corporate entity transfer. Form 3's take about 20-40 days with eforms, form 4's 3-4 months with eforms.

Make sure you dealer is using e forms!
