Cleaning a daily carry gun

Ok guys. I just got my permit 2 weeks ago, and I have carried everyday. My question is: How often should I clean the gun I carry everyday? I carry a Kahr PM9 in a Don Hume IWB or a Desani Nemises(sp?)

I'd say clean it every time you shoot it. Thats what I do.

Every time after you shoot it and once a month either way. I usually schedule the first Tuesday of the month to clean mine. Keeps me on a schedule.

i shoot once a week again so. I figured I clean it enough.

I don't get to shoot very often while I'm in school. I guess once a month will do. What about rotating mags and ammo?

Can't say about that. I don't usually keep the same ammo in a mag for more than a week...lol

Haha. I shoot normal ammo, but I carry the defensive rounds.
