I've got one of these .22LR conversions. I love it but have had some issues. I know about the federal bulk ammo issue, and most of my ammo is federal bulk. I get about 1 stovepipe per magazine with the federal, and zero issues when I use the winchester Xpert. That is an issue that i am willing to live with while plinking.

Second issue is a weird one for me. I fired somewhere around 300-400 rds yesterday and twice the gun fired more than one cartridge. A quick 3 round burst in the blink of an eye. I've dismantled and cleaned it, can't get it to duplicate the issue.

Third issue is that I hadn't cleaned the chamber after firing last sunday, I had only fired around 30rds. I was just going to wait until it was actually dirty to clean it. Well the Conversion stuck in the chamber and took a bit of force to get out.

So I've got 2 lessons learned and one WTF in regards to the multiple rounds fired. Any ideas on that one?

I'll take that as a no.

Only thing I can figure is that after firing a few hundred rounds the firing pin got gummed up and started slam firing the rounds. I haven't completely disassembled the .22 conversion bolt yet, I'v only performed a de-soot and oil wipe down.

Ive had the same problems. I learned that lubing the crap out of it seems to keep it running pretty well. It still occasionally jams up though. Mine definitely does like yours and shoots more than one round per trigger pull occasionally. Happened at the range saturday. I guess the bad news about that is it is federal charge right?
