    For historical value, nostalgia, and plinking I'd say Yes, but for accuracy it would have to be a No. I was in the military when the M9 replaced the M1911. It is unbelievable how much more accurate the M9 was, when compared to the M1911. As a general rule, most of the military 1911s I used were extremely loose and "minute of barn door". I'm sure there are some exceptions but wouldn't expect to see many.

    Still, would be cool to have one, especially if some NM specimens were in the mix.
