Yep, blued finish. Finicky with ammo, and mine is waiting to go to a smith to be looked at due to failure to feed/return to battery, even with ammo that had previously functioned fine. Even when it had been working, I never carried it because it is just such a fine little gun (and quite increased in value from what I had paid for it) and I'd hate to wear it down, I pack an ugly but reliable Kel-Tec P3AT that can get beat up without me feeling guilty.

I got mine in 1992 I think. Probably only fired 100 rounds or so with no problems. I have had two offers for it for more than I paid new. It is a neat little gun and I dont plan on selling it. Let me know how the problems work out.

my first pocket pistol was an astra and it was really thick and heavy; second was a mustang .. stainless.. worked great for me..light easy to pull out of conceal.. I wish I had kept it.. was worried about penetration so got something bigger caliber again... in a small glock... I like the mustang II a lot..
