colt new agent ?'s

I just got word my colt new agent is ready for pick up and im trying to find out if the grips could be swapped from other compact 9mm 1911's like the para ordinance hawg? I don't want cheap grips but I would like to have it blacked out. Any help on the subject is appreciated.

the para hawg grips won't fit because those pistols are double-stack and the grips are made a little different with that little tab. any other compact (short) grips should fit. I actually have a set of the shorter CT laser grips in case you're looking for a set of those.

The Colt Defender (which is the same frame) uses black rubber wrap around Hogue grips - they will fit your New Agent - I have a set on mine.
