    I've been shopping for a Commander. Concealing the slide has never been an issue for me, it's the grip length that prints.

    I wish I had something like a Detonics Street Master. Full length slide, officer frame.

    I do and I love it, I dont have issues with the length of the grip but since I carry IWB @ 3 O'clock on about a 45 Degree angle when I used to carry a Government size 1911 it used to stick down too far almost all the way to my back right pocket which would suck when I had to get my wallet out.

    I switched over to a Commander and I love it, I still get my full size grip and mag load which makes it comfortable to shoot but I no longer have issues with my wallet.

    It works great for me and for the way I carry, I know lots of people carry @3 O clock at a 90 Degree Angle unfurtunelty that doesnt work for me since I am 5'6" and 148 Pounds so the grip sticks out in that case too far out.

    It will all depend on your body size and how you carry.
