Conceal Carry wait time

Has anybody gotten their permit within a month? I hear its taking some folks 3 to 5 months to gets theirs

My Wife was a "no incident" and got hers last week for a total of 6 weeks. I'm still waiting. If you get electronically finger printed at the State police Headquarters in Baton Rouge it shaves a month off of the waiting time.

Same here, well actually about 3 1/2 weeks total drop off at BR to my mail yellow envelope in my mailbox

I have gotten all 3 of mine back quick. Once I got same day service from SGT Reavis, but that is an exception, not the rule. Too bad he isn't there any longer, I need to go ahead and sign up for my lifetime permit, I haven't looked into the rules on that yet.

I got my original 4 years ago in about 30 days and my renewal turned in Friday b/4 Labor day of this year within 30 days.

I dropped mine off May 1 and got it June 5. My wife mailed hers off Aug 19 and got hers Oct 16. She mailed it regular mail and her dad mailed his off certified mail Aug 19 and hasn't got it yet. All three was renewals.

I dropped mine off today instead of mailing. The lady at the counter said it could take "up to 120 days.".

She looked over all the paperwork for me and said all looked good.
