just wondering what y'all think, i sent in on jan. 5 for my concealed carry license. one place i am very much considering carrying is for festivals, ex, rabbit festival in iowa, crowely rice festival. people just getting to crazy and i'd feel more comfortable carrying a weapon. here's my question. i have heard that you can't carry at parades, does the same apply to these festivals? any info is appreciated.

iowa louisiana, when i go i just go to listen to the bands, i don't drink or anything, only thing i'm scared of is the walk to and from my vehicle, people are just getting to crazy, and all these killings in jeff davis parish is really got me wanting to conceal carry.
