hey fellas, i don't think i'll do it, but i've been playing with the idea in my head. I kinda want a glock 34. list some pro's and cons, here is what i'm thinking so far..

    pros

    sig 228
*I've got it set, i have all the magazines I need, 13-15 round capacity, and i have a 20 round mag, I have 2 holsters and a magazine holder for it. it's nice, light and can be concealed. it's got history. i like the sa/da and decocker. it's got an all metal feel to it.

    glock 34
it's cool looking. it's got a 17-33 round capacity, i'm thinking if i get one i'd like some 17 round magazines with extenders just to bring capacity up to an ever number :). it's light, has an accessories rail for lights and stuff. lots of after market goodies, like triggers and such. It's more of a competition gun if i want to do that. i think the recoil might have been a little less than my sig.

    cons
    sig 228
more likely to rust that the glock, I'd have to sell it to get the glock, not as much after market stuff as the glock. they don't make the 228 anymore i think, that could be a problem in the future. it has less capacity than the glock. takes slightly longer to strip and clean.

    glock 34
I would have to start from scratch with a new gun,get it set up, it's larger and harder to hide than the 228, doesn't have the history the sig 228 does.

what do you fellas think? I was also thinking of a sig p220, but then i would have a high capacity handgun, and i want to keep at least one.

Keep the 228. If you have to think about it, it means you'll regret it later. I'd never trade/sell a gun unless I just absolutely hated it.

If it's a financial issue, just put the Glock on layaway. :D
