    Corn and Crab Bisque

    1 - Onion (diced)
    1 - Stick of butter
    2 Tbsp - Flour
1 Lb - Crab claw meat
1 Qt - Half and half
    1 can - Creamed Corn
    1 can - Potato Soup
    1/2 Tsp - Worcestershire Sauce
    1/4 cup - American Cheese
    Dash of Tony's
    Dash of Cayenne pepper

Melt butter. Saute onion. (I like to pick the shells out of the crab meat while the onion is cooking down.) Sprinkle in flour. Stir. Add remaining ingredients and simmer 30 minutes on low heat. Of course, the longer it cooks, the better.

    It's business time.

Crab boil makes an excellent seasoning , but use it SPARINGLY ! :D

I found that out with the thanksgiving fried turkey. The marinade/injectin recipe called for 1/2 a cup. :eek3:

Miller, I was sitting at my wife's parents (read: bored), so I decided to run to the store for the fixins. I will make it to tryout at my grandparents tomorrow. Thanks for the recipe.

I was informed that this will be expected of me every year. The only change I may make is to pure' the cream of potatoe soup before adding it to get rid of the small chunks of potatoes. It reminded me too much of a chowder (technicaly it is because of the potatoes). I cooked it in a 3qt sauce pan and it filled 3/4 of it, so it makes quite a bit.
