    hey all,

my bro and I want to go crabbing tomorrow morning in delacroix off of I think road 300 that goes along the bayou... is it still ok to do that there, or is the area affected by the oil spill? if anyone knows please chime in...

Last I heard it's open. Check out St. Bernard's website at www.sbpg.net.

On July 2nd, the parish put up this map showing what was closed:

And yes, Hwy. 300 will run along the bayou to Delacroix. I think Frank Davis was just fishing down there recently. I may be wrong about this, so double check first.

thank you very much sir! We went today, caught us about 3 dozen crabs, had a nice little crab boil w the neighbors... I never liked store bought crab, but there's something about those ones we catch at delacroix... i just love em!

No problem at all. I need to get out there myself.

Glad you enjoyed it. There's nothing like seafood from da Parish.
