Hell, you got it made. I am in the middle of the Persian Gulf out of Saudi Arabia. Pork breath is against the law here. I just know that when I get back to Gods Country / Louisiana I want some Cracklins. Thanks for the info everyone.

Well I have been convinced, Days will get some of my hard earned money very soon. I will also take a bike ride to Mandeville and give that place a shot. I guess I need to search the interweb and learn how to cook cracklins. Since the Hammond area doesnt have a Cracklin dealer, this could be a business adventure, hummm..

Kentucky and Hammond are two places you don't want to have a cracklin craving flung on you. I did some looking on boudin link site and thier sister cracklin site and found NO listings in Hammond or Pontchatula. Had locations in Baton Rouge and New Orleans. Sounds sort of bleak for good cracklins. Sorry

Thats what's wrong with them people..Pork keeps you sane. Pork fat, deep fried in more pork fat, with a little salt and cayenne...good for what ails you!

Hogin, Thanks man...We appreciate your service and sacrifice for us. Will say prayers for you. Come home safe and soon OK.

Stopped by today and got some cracklins and WOW...they were best I have ever had. For later, I'm grilling up some smoked boudin. Too bad they were out of hogs head cheese but that is just a good reason to go back soon.
