Night sights allow me to find my gun in pitch black at 3am. Let's see some fancy laser do that.

Excellent point!! I can remember camping @ Tunica Hills after seeing a huge bear by the camp site.. Those 3 green dots on my Glock 30, in the pitch black, were a real feeling of comfort

So... are you going to get a set of night sights as well?

Yeah, I think so! I still haven't found the right deal on them yet

I know where my gun is all the time. Even at 3am :).

My DB380 and my wife's LCP both have CT lasers for two reasons. First, the sights on most of these little pocket pistols are useless. Second, encounters on the street are usually at very close range and you might not to be able to pull up the gun and line up the sights on your target. I want to be able to shoot from the hip or any other position. I might even be using one hand to defend myself while I draw and try to eliminate the threat.

On the other hand, the Glock that I keep by my bed has night sights. I have 4 dogs and there is no way an intruder will get close without them alerting me to somebody in my house, so I will have the gun in hand and drawn up. In that case, who needs a stinking laser.

So since you already know that, what makes you believe you will have enough time to turn a laser device on, specially with one hand as mentioned before ????? Wouldnt it make more sense to invest in training into a more intuitive system than to have a false sense of security into a laser .........

Shouldn't really be a think... should be a "Yes when I find a good price on them" because having a laser and not a good set of sights on a carry gun is pretty much admitting that toys are more important to you than practicality... and that is moronic.

Who the hell trains -only- for "usually" in a gunfight?

USUALLY people don't GET IN A GUN FIGHT.

So why not cover your bases if you're going to prepare for some of the worst? Sheesh :P

The laser is activated when you grip the weapon, by a pressure switch on the grip.

That being said, I ALWAYS have to have all the exotic crap, that you don't need on a gun. If this is going to be my carry piece, I want it to be ready for ANYTHING!!! Also, I can't have a normal caliber either, like 9mm, 223, 30-06. Instead I get 357 sig, 6.8 spc, 300 wsm, ect. Then bitch all day long @ how expensive ammo is.HAHAHA!!
