Its good stuff. I bought into the gimmick out of high school and tried to sell the stuff. Its a quality product, I'm just not a good salesman.

Well it is good stuff, but does work kinda like a pyramid scam. You agree to meet with a Cutco rep. i.e. your friend. Then he has you recommend three people or so and asks for their numbers and using you as a reference calls them and tries to meet with them. Rinse repeat, 1 person turns into 3, 3 to 9 etc, etc... Definitely pricey though and for that money i much rather ceramic knives at least for cooking purposes.

Almost no one can sharpen them either, you have to send them back for sharpening. But on that same note I have several Wear Ever knives that were my grand mothers and they are at least 40-50 years old. Sent them back and they were returned rudely sharp.

Cutco is kind of the Amway of the knife world. Very good stuff though. There is better, but it isnt junk even if it is a little bit over priced.

I discovered over the past few months that it is a knife selling cult.

Its ridiculous they bait you to become a salesman.

Google it, my friend went through it.

Oh I'm well aware of that as are anyone who has tried it. If you're a hustler and good at selling you can make money on your own schedule. It's tough though.
