Well it is good stuff, but does work kinda like a pyramid scam. You agree to meet with a Cutco rep. i.e. your friend. Then he has you recommend three people or so and asks for their numbers and using you as a reference calls them and tries to meet with them. Rinse repeat, 1 person turns into 3, 3 to 9 etc, etc... Definitely pricey though and for that money i much rather ceramic knives at least for cooking purposes.
Almost no one can sharpen them either, you have to send them back for sharpening. But on that same note I have several Wear Ever knives that were my grand mothers and they are at least 40-50 years old. Sent them back and they were returned rudely sharp.
Oh I'm well aware of that as are anyone who has tried it. If you're a hustler and good at selling you can make money on your own schedule. It's tough though.
