My first larger cal handgun after upgrading from Walther .380!

Anyone have any experience with either tool? I like the CZ branded accessories being a little cheaper and its one sexy pistol.

Can you expand on the CZ being crap? Is it the 40 version only?
They have the best ergonomics, point natural, and have good triggers

Never shot the P07 in .40. I have the 9mm and wouldn't call it crap. It is reliable, accurate, has a decent factory trigger. A few springs makes it much better. My only complaint is the price of magazines compared to regular CZ75 mags. Also there was no holster available for it with a light so I had to have one made.

I generally like the metal Cz stuff. I have been really unimpressed with the PO4. I don't like the grip, the trigger is pretty bad, they dot have any major agencies as customers so a track record of reliability is hard to find, and in order to get around patents the design is over complicated.

If you want a Polymer .40 and you insist on a thumb safety I would get an M&P .40 with the manual safety. Before I did that though I would do some research into why I wanted a .40 and why I wanted a safety.

I've never liked there plastic guns, didn't no the internals were different
I have the CZ75 PO-1, it's the same size as a G19 and only weighs 1oz more according to there web sites, it's by far the best feeling gun in my hands, and I shoot it the best

The internals are very similar. A little bit more simple in the trigger. The trigger bar is one sided for instance. The hammer, mainspring design are the same. The grip is not as nice as my Shadow but I like it for a plastic gun. That is subjective anyway. I've met guys that like the way a Beretta 92 feel so there is no telling what people will like. The mag release is very similar to a Gen 4 glock which is the first Glock mag release I've like.

Anyway, everyone can try whatever they like. I think almost all of the big brands are good if people put in the work to learn it.

Also, the recoil spring is way too heavy but that was easily fixed.
