I traded a Beretta px4 subcompact earlier this year and the gun was apparently lost by the new owner. The police have contacted me and are in possession of the gun. Let me know if it was you and I will get you in contact with the officer handling the case.

Same thing happened to me roughly a year ago. Picayune, MS police contacted me after having an ATF trace done, as I was the original purchaser of a Ruger LCP that they took off a teenager.

Never did locate the purchaser so they turned the gun over to me. Hate that someone lost their piece, but I got the cash and the gun too.
