JUst get it dipped and you will get as close as possible as the "real pattern"

I have spray painted a shotgun that I bough for $75 in a multi-cam design and it came out pretty decent but not a show piece

Darn, now I want to get my Baby Eagle coated with an ABU pattern...not. But, I do like that AR. I would do one of those in the ABU pattern.

Thanks for the pictures xobelkcat, thats all i was really looking for was pics. I know i can get things hydro dipped, but was just gonna paint alittle 22 for my son. I wouldnt go spray painting a good gun.
