Distance shooting matches in Louisiana

New to the forum and was curious to whether there were distance shooting competitions here in the southern areas of Louisiana. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I'm interested in matches at any distance but that pays better than 75 dollars for first place. I'd like to make a career out of competitive shooting. I'm gonna run my 18 inch AR in 556.

I have been shooting in the USPSA/IPSC for 15 years and always wished that I could make money doing it. But in truth I spend probably $10,000 a years practicing and competing. In my opinion, people who make a living shooting are few and far between. These are very talented and dedicated folks.
