Dove hunt in southeast Louisiana

Does anyone know of any pay dove hunts. Does not have to be opening day/week. In the Slidell area.

I know of a guy not far from you in the Picayune/Wiggins are that has been working really hard on his place for a couple of years now. I've heard lots of birds. His number as at the office, I will pm it to you in the am.

My brother and I did a quail hunt with them and had a great time. By now he should have his pheasant tower up as well.

We couldn't have asked for a better "guide". Yes all of the birds were released that morning in specific spots, but it didnt make a difference to us. I think out of 28 we got 24 so it's somewhat sporting.

I called Covey Rise earlier this afternoon and was told that they do not offer dove hunts. I too would be interested in any dove hunts in Southeast Louisiana. Also will post with any I find.

I heard there was a hunt in the Robert area. Supposed to have a sign advertising on Old Spanish Trail in Slidell. Run that road at least once per week, and will be on lookout for it.

There use to be a place around Kentwood (Sliver Campground I think), $100 gun. But it's been few years, don't know if they still have it.
