Not sure if I have asked here before or not. Has anyone tried to drill out a broken offset pivot pin? Is this something that can be done without trashing either receiver? I traded for a Colt SP1 lower with an LM A1 upper attached and the offset pivot pin is broken or something. Everything just turns without loosening up (threaded end turns with the nut even while holding screw end). I was going to just get a barrel assembly for it and leave things alone, but now I am thinking about trading it off. If the screw can be drilled with no problem, I would replace it but if not, I will probably leave them attached.
