It's taken me 4 hours to get to Beaumont. Ice on every overpass and bridge.
Is the bridges over the river open?
I'm trying to decide if I should stop and get a hotel room?
What's the state of the basin bridge?

The same DOTD report says that the Krotz Springs bridge over the Atchafalaya is closed. And 190/I-49 south of Lfyt/Broussard is closed. Lfyt is prob the furthest you can really go if you're trying to get to BR/Nola.(according to the 1pm DOTD listing of closures)

If you make it to Lafayette, Stop and get update's before you waste your time and get turned back.
How about 190, Any news about the route ?
I'm at a dead stop at sulphur. When I get to the next exit I'm headed north to 190. Im gonna go as far as I can on that and if I have too find a motel.
I should've just stayed in Houston. This sucks.

    Speed trap in Reeves

I finally made it home. I bailed att he sulphur exit but wasn't easy getting to 190 because of closures. I ended up following a local a back way and finally made it to 190. Had to find a detour near Eunice but other than that took 190 all the way in. Did the spillway bridge in 4 wheel drive at 10mph and was still nervous.

I can't imagine the amount of car accidents reported today. And there is allot of people stranded as I think where I got off was the last chance.
