    Id like to duracoat a few parts (handguard, grip, stock etc) I have looked at some step by steps on forums but wanted to check up with the bayou boys and girls for any additional tips/opinions.

    Question: Can i duracoat rubber (Ergo Grip) Plastics etc.

    Yes you can.
    For the rubber they make a flex additive but I have not had much luck with it. It is real hard to keep suspended long enough to apply. They key here is really small batches which make cleaning your gun a pain in the arse

    Plastics can all be coated with no issues. The only thing to be careful of is heat curing them. Do not go over 150* and do NOT let it touch any metal

    Mix your duracoate 12:1 and don't reduce it. Spray on some scrap to see how you like it. Adjust your hardener to give it more or less gloss

    yes you can, I painted my ar with no problem.

    need any tips i am an automotive painter at mossy of picyaune. came out flawless take your time and have paitence is key to any paint job.
