eBay Seller Indifference

I have a Redfield 75 sight base and was looking on eBay for the moveable arm (which fits into the base and has a horizontal arm which holds the aperture). I found an arm which LOOKED like it would be the proper one, but it was just described as a "sight part", no model number or further description. I messaged the seller and asked for a measurement of the width and thickness of the vertical part of the arm, to see it it would fit my sight. A perfectly reasonable question I assumed.

The seller answered "I don't have a measuring tape". I'm astonished at the apathy. Guess I won't be buying from this seller.

Gotta watch ebay. Had some good experiences buying but no so good trying to sell. Hit with scammers wanting to add "gift" cards with their purchase.

that is the cost of discount shopping. customer service is one of the things you are paying for when you purchase from a locally owned retail store.
